Mary W. Davis, LPC
Mary W. Davis is a Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor and an Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She has worked for 25 years in the field of mental health. She is bi-lingual (Spanish) and offers mental health services in both languages with cultural insight. She works with adults in the areas of personal growth, depression, abuse, seasonal affective disorder and alcohol and drug recovery. She also specializes in the treatment of those affected by domestic violence. In her therapeutic work she helps clients view their lives and situations in a bigger context in order to promote positive change for themselves. She has an eclectic style of therapy drawing from Rogerian, Adlerian and Reality theoretical models. In 2008 the Delaware Domestic Violence Coordinating Council awarded her the Distinguished Service Award and in 2010 the Outstanding Community Service Award. In her free time Mary enjoys being outside, hiking and sailing on the Delaware River and learning about other cultures. She is married and has two grown sons.
